Dexeryl is a skin protection cream designed to alleviate symptoms associated with dry skin, also known as xerosis, particularly in various dermatological conditions such as atopic dermatitis and ichthyosis, as well as erythema resulting from radiotherapy. Its unique formula, which incorporates film-forming properties of Vaseline and liquid paraffin, physically reduces moisture loss by preventing evaporation. This creates a protective barrier against external irritants. Moreover, glycerol's moisturizing qualities support the maintenance of hydration levels in the skin. Dexeryl cream is effective in reducing irritation and has demonstrated significant improvements across different types of xerosis_ users experience a 50% reduction in skin dryness, as well as fewer flare-ups of atopic dermatitis, along with alleviation of itching and tightness. Notably, with the use of Dexeryl Emollient Cream, only half of the patients required corticosteroids. It is free of fragrances and suitable for use from infancy.
